NAVIGATING THE MAPS - A Quick Tutorial

GENERAL INFO:
  • All of the Route Maps were created using Google My Maps.

  • Single-day routes are grouped by regional district. Multi-day routes often span multiple regional districts and will therefore be grouped by tourism region, rather than by specific regional district.

  • Each map will contain a maximum of five routes. Regions with more than five routes will have more than one map.

HOW TO USE THE MAPS:

The route list of each map is hidden by default. To view the list, click the icon in the top left corner of the map.

You'll see a list of map layers. They'll be labeled either "ROUTE" or "NOTES".

Each route contains both a "ROUTE" layer and a "NOTES" layer, labeled with a code to keep them organized (ie. "ROUTE - A1" goes with "NOTES - A1", "ROUTE - A2" goes with "NOTES - A2", etc).

Click the checkbox next to the "ROUTE" layer to see the route, and, if you'd like, include the "NOTES" layer as well to see additional details such as photos, route information, points of interest, etc. The additional details will appear as clickable icons along the route.
