Riding Green Mountain Road

Route Type: Loop

Time to Complete: 1 hour

Distance: 64 km (40 miles)

Scenery: 8/10

Twisties: 10/10

Road Quality: 8/10

Heads Up: Watch out for debris on the road early and late in the season, or after high winds.

This one's a classic Okanagan ride, and it never disappoints. Green Mountain Road delivers twisty curves, beautiful scenery, and minimal traffic — all the ingredients for a perfect ride.

My only complaint? I wish it were longer.

Luckily, there are plenty of ways to extend the trip. You can head south on Hwy 3A toward Keremeos and beyond, or link up with the OK Falls Loop. Lots of great options depending on what you're in the mood for.

I respectfully acknowledge that this route is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Syilx (Okanagan) people.
